Particle analyser Litesizer DLS 500 with dosing system

Description:

The Litesizer DLS 500 is an instrument that can characterize particles in liquid dispersions. It can determine particle size, zeta potential and molecular mass by measuring dynamic (DLS), electrophoretic (ELS) and static light scattering (SLS), respectively. This equipment can also measure transmittance and refractive index. The dosing system is used to change the pH of the sample during zeta potential measurements.

Specifications:

  • Particle size range for DLS: 0.3 nm - 10 μm
  • Min. sample volume for DLS: 12 μL
  • Particle size range for ELS: 3.8 nm - 100 μm
  • Min. sample volume for ELS: 50 μL
  • Zeta potential range: > ± 1000 mV
  • Particle size range for SLS: up to 40 nm
  • Min. sample volume for SLS: 15 μL
  • Molecular mass range for SLS: 300 Da – 20 mDa
  • Min. sample volume for transmittance determination: 15 μL
  • Refractive index range determiantion: 1.28 – 1.50
  • Min. sample volume for refractive index determination: 1 mL
