BBCE Summer School 2020 on “Scientific writing” (online event)

Event date: 23-11-2020

In the framework of the BBCE project, the Institute of Biomaterials (FAU) is responsible for the organization of a Summer School focused on scientific writing and reporting of scientific data, once a year. The activities of the Summer School are mainly oriented to undergraduate (e.g. Master) students, PhD students and researchers of all Latvian BBCE partners (RTU, RSU, RSU IS and LIOS).

All participants should submit an abstract about their research topic and activities within 17th November 2020 on the BBCE web site and during the School they will present their work in the form of a rapid fire presentation (5 minutes). A book of abstracts with all the submitted contributions will be published on the BBCE website.

This year, due to the global pandemic, the Summer School cannot take place in Erlangen, but it will be a virtual event and it will take place on 23-27 November 2020.

BBCE project´s main objective is to establish a joint Baltic Biomaterials Centre of Excellence for advanced biomaterials development based on the long-term strategic cooperation between AO Research Institute Davos, Switzerland (ARI) and Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany (FAU) on the one hand and RTU RBIDC, LIOS, RSU and RSU IS on the other hand.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 857287
