🏆 Our team at the Baltic Biomaterials Centre of Excellence kicked off the week by participating in BioPhoT Industry Days 2025! All of our projects’ scientific leaders (Dagnija Loca, Arita Dubnika, Antons Sizovs, Kristaps Klavins, Ilze Salma) were present, actively engaging in discussions with industry representatives.

👏 The event brought together professionals from biomedical, medical technology, pharmaceutical, photonics, smart materials, technology and engineering sectors, as well as industry associations, academic institutions, policymakers, investors, and innovation support organisations.

🌟 Three of our project leaders also had the opportunity to pitch their projects to an international jury. We are proud to share that SwyCard presented by Kristaps Klavins was recognized by the Expert Panel as the best project presentation in the fields of biomedicine, medical technology, and pharmaceuticals.

It was an excellent opportunity to connect with experts, explore current research, and discuss collaboration opportunities. We look forward to translating these discussions into impactful scientific and technological outcomes!
