WP4 objective is design and implement a quality management system (QMS) in order to achieve the strategic objectives of BBCE, ensure compliance of BBCE procedures and processes with applicable
national and EU regulations, international standards, as well as to meet ethical and customer requirements. Implementation of WP4 will ensure traceability and continually improve quality, efficiency,
performance and reputation of BBCE.
Structure of BBCE Quality Management:
- Task 4.1. Implementation of International Quality Standards and Good Practices – Task Leader Dr. Mauro Alini (ARI)
- Task 4.2. Quality Standards for Development of Materials and Drug Delivery Systems – Task Leader Dr.sc.ing. Kristine Salma-Ancane (RTU RBIDC)
- Task 4.3. Quality Standards for Pre-clinical Methods – Task Leader Dr.pharm. Reinis Vilskersts (LIOS LPP)
- Task 4.4. Quality Standards for Clinical Studies – Task Leader Ieva Greitane (RSU IS)
BBCE project´s main objective is to establish a joint Baltic Biomaterials Centre of Excellence for advanced biomaterials development based on the long-term strategic cooperation between AO Research Institute Davos, Switzerland (ARI) and Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany (FAU) on the one hand and RTU RBIDC, LIOS, RSU and RSU IS on the other hand.
