Group 4 – Kinetics and stability of drug delivery systems

Research directions:

Group leader: Dr.sc.ing. Agnese Brangule

ORCID: orcid.org/0000-0003-1194-0746

Agnese Brangule received her PhD in Chemistry Technology in 2017. Her main competencies are different synthesis methods of different calcium phosphates and application of FTIR techniques (PAS, DRIFT, ATR), which can provide both qualitative and quantitative information about a sample and, combined with statistical, provide a convenient graphical and visual representation of the data.

Agnese Brangule joined the BBCE project as a Group 4 (Kinetics and stability of drug delivery systems) leader in January 2021. She conducts her research in the field of:

Field of expertise: research services in HPLC UV, FTIR ATR

BBCE project´s main objective is to establish a joint Baltic Biomaterials Centre of Excellence for advanced biomaterials development based on the long-term strategic cooperation between AO Research Institute Davos, Switzerland (ARI) and Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany (FAU) on the one hand and RTU RBIDC, LIOS, RSU and RSU IS on the other hand.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 857287
